Beards and Bloody Marys 2

What a great weekend to venture out to find the next stop to find the perfect Bloody Mary. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of better hobbies for the nature or sports enthusiast, especially during this crazy March Madness season, but for me I get the best of all worlds in my search. I can travel to places in beautifully woodsy areas and watch any number of great games on the big screens whilst I test and taste my way to the perfect BM. Today, we drove west then north to a cool place outside of Seneca, Illinois to a beautiful setting on the Illinois river. We ended up on the second floor overlooking the water and docks, as well as watching the barges drive the coal upstream. Quite exciting for the little ones in our caravan. We did cheat and saw pictures online of the Bloody Mary art presented on a certain Facebook page, hence how we ended up here in the middle of nowhere. It was well worth the trip.
