Critical Priority pathogens Pose Threat UPSC
The World Health Organization (WHO) updates its Bacterial Pathogens Priority List, categorising 15 families of antibiotic-resistant bacteria into critical, high, and medium priority groups. The list aims to guide global investment, research, and development, particularly in vaccines, tests, and treatments, to combat the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
